GO WORLD!

We are very proud of all of the athletes at the Olympics. Some of us watched skiing and some of us watched skating. Some of us (including our teacher) stayed up waaay too late to watch! We liked seeing the Slovenian skiers win too. Ben saw the Slovenian team at the opening ceremonies. Go World!

Oh yes, the olimpic spirit is all over the place here as well :)

We're very proud of our national heroes: Petra Majdič, who won bronz medal inspite of hard injuries which she got during the training ride, and Tina Maze, who won 2 silver medals in downhill skiing. They are the best!

We know some great American skiers: Bode Miller, Lindsey Vonn (we feel sorry for her broken finger), Julia Mancuso ... Conratulations to them from us!

Skiing is a Slovenian national sport. There are only 2 million of us but we have always had some of the best skiers in the world.

Let's keep on watching the olimpics and enjoy!

Greetings from us, the Sparkles.

I like hearing about kids cheering for athletes outside their country. That's the idea of the Olympics.
