CrAzY sOcK dAy

We had Crazy Sock Day. Some of us made crazy socks. We colored on white socks. Julius sewed stuff on his socks. CJ used markers on his socks. Bree glued things on her socks - even hair! Some people wore socks they had with crazy patterns. Some people wore socks that didn't match. Nar used duck tape on her socks. Matt used markers and made Tic-Tac-Toes on his toes. It was f-u-n!

We had crazy sock day too. I wore pink and yellow socks. I was a little shy about wearing them. I felt silly in them. How did you feel? Did everyone like it?

I liked the pictures you posted on the video. We also have crazy sock day! My socks were long and thay have pockedots. What else do you kids do on crazy sock day?

We read a poem about socks that were rolled into a ball. Some of us had to take one sock off and make a ball. We tried to throw it into a basket. We felt weird taking our socks off.

Then we went outside and we had a sock fight. It was really fun because I got to play with my friends. I bumped some friends on the head with the sock ball. I tried to run away from the stinky sock balls.

Ms. Gates,
That was such a fun comment! We like the idea of stinky sock balls. We also like the game of throwing socks in a basket. Was it a contest?
Are you a teacher, or are you in high school?
Thank you for reading our blog! Do you have a blog we can read?

All of those comments were from my students (3rd grade reading group). They were all using my account and they just forgot to include their names when they submitted.

I'll ask Vannesa about throwing the socks into the basket since that was her comment.
