The Weather in Maine

"The frost is on the pumpkin!"
When we woke up this morning, there was frost everywhere! We had to scrape the frost off the cars. Frost is white and cold. The warm fall days are over. Winter is coming. Time for warm clothes and staying warm.

Hello Stars -

This picture of the pumpkin is really great! I've noticed frost on my car in the mornings, too. I think you're right that winter is here!

Keep up the great work with your blog,
Nicole (one of Marguerite's classmates)

Hi Stars!

I'm Taylor and I'm also one of Marguerite's classmates at Colby. I also help out in the classroom next door!

I'm so impressed with your blog! I can't believe that first graders are learning so much about computers and the internet! They are definitely special tools that you'll use for the rest of your life, so it's awesome that your teacher is so dedicated to teaching you about them!

I also loved reading what you're all thankful for! And those turkeys you've made in your picture look great!

Thanks for sharing your classroom with us!

Dear Taylor and Nicole,
We have a Taylor in our class too! She spells her name just like yours. We like when you all read our blog.

Stars,
Did you all see the snow today? My name is Kareem and I'm in my first year at Colby. It was the first time I have seen snow in Maine. I hope we get a lot more this year!
